Box 13 Centerville, AR 72829 Electronically: http://www.arkansasdirttrackin.com ![]() 3. STREET STOCKS: Mixing and matching of front stubs are OK. GATES OPEN 5:00 - DRAW CLOSES AT 7:20 - RACES AT 8:00 1. Heats and last chance races are on a 15-minute time limit. 2. Firesuits are strongly advised in all classes. Firesuits are mandatory in street stock and pure stocks. Racing helmets are mandatory in all classes and should have a "SNELL" rating of at least 95. Fire resistant gloves and shoes are highly recommended. FULLY CHARGED Fire extinguishers (within driver’s reach) are also required. These safety precautions benefit you. Think about it. 3. Track does not cover any damage done to any vehicle in the pits. 4. NO REAR VIEW MIRRORS ALLOWED. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. NO RADIOS. 5. All open tube drive shafts must have a safety strap or chain of 360 degrees and must be painted white. 6. Cars will have a front and rear bumper at a reasonable height and extend beyond the body for pushing and must have a chain or steel loop device attached to the center of the chassis on front and rear to provide wrecker hook-up. 7. Cars should be painted in a professional manner with the number painted in a contrasting color on BOTH sides and TOP of car, large enough for scorer to distinguish from the press box. 8. If needed, cars must pack the track. Track packing starts at 7:30. If you do not pack with your class, you will not receive packing points and you will run tailback in your heat. You must stay on the track until motioned off in order to receive your 10 packing points. If you are having trouble with your car, you must tell the tech man in order for you to retain your starting spot in the heat. 9. TRACK OFFICIALS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRAW FOR ANY REASON. Line-ups will be made after the draw has closed. Car must be at track before you draw. If you have not drawn, you will run tailback in your heat. If you wish to run tailback, please tell the officials at the draw. IF YOU DRAW, YOU MUST TAKE YOUR SPOT. If one car does not make the line-up, all cars behind that car will move straight forward, (they will crisscross). If 2 or more cars in the same line do not make the line-up, the cars will be crisscrossed. After the green has been thrown, cars will move straight up. 10. POINTS GO TO THE car. Points are earned by packing the track, Every night is a track point night unless otherwise noted. 11. Cars qualify through heats for the feature. Last chance race transfers start at the back of the "A". If you do not qualify through the heat or last chance race, you will not be allowed to run the "A". 12. Race positions will be posted at the pit board. It is the driver's responsibility to know his/her position. All races will be aligned in the pit area. Drivers will be called to line up in the designated area. Cars are to be in the correct line-up and ready to start the race before entering the track. If you miss the line-up, you will run tailback. If you pass the pace vehicle, you will go to the rear. Once all cars have reached flagmans stand you cannot enter the track. Cars jumping the start will be penalized. 13. FLAGMAN HAS COMPLETE AUTHORITY DURING THE RACE!! 14. When the front row of cars reaches the white line, the start will be official only upon the flagman signaling with the green flag. The pole car will set the pace, which shall be consistent with track conditions and as required to keep the field in FORMATION. IF YOU ARE OUT OF LINE, THE YELLOW FLAG WILL BE THROWN AND YOU WILL BE PUT ON THE REAR. The race is officially over when the checkered flag is thrown. On the start of any race or attempted start if any car messes up that car will be put to the back. (No freebees.) Rough driving will not be tolerated at all. If a lapped car causes a wreck that takes a car out of the race that is on the lead lap that car will be black flagged or worse. The only flag to follow the white is the checkered unless the red is displayed. 15. The pole car should start the race, however, this will be at a reasonable speed. It does not give them the right to keep the pace so slow that the cars behind are "bogged" down. Flagman may signal car to pick up speed. If this is ignored, flagman may put that car on the rear. This includes all restarts. It is up to the front row to set an even pace so that the race is started evenly. If this cannot be done in 2 attempts, 1 or both cars will go to the rear. 16. On a restart, all cars return to their original starting positions EXCEPT the cars that the yellow/red flag was thrown. Those cars will go to the rear. On the first lap, all cars must come through the green in order for the lap to be complete, except those for which the yellow/red was thrown. Any race not being restarted in the original double file formation will be lined up according to the 'Texas-style' restarts. The leader on the front row by himself, and the rest of the field doubled up throughout. The restart will be official when the flagman drops the green flag on the exit of turn four. A RED FLAG MEANS STOP - THERE IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION ON THE TRACK. DO NOT DRIVE AROUND TO BE CLOSE TO YOUR PIT CREW. IF YOU IGNORE THE RED FLAG, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. A YELLOW FLAG MEANS - THERE IS A SPIN/WRECK ON THE TRACK USE CAUTION. A YELLOW AND RED LIGHT ON TOGETHER IS THE SIGNAL FOR A COMPLETE RESTART, IN DOUBLE FILE ORDER. 17. Street Stocks cannot move down to Hobby Stock without prior consent from the race director. There are no restrictions on any driver in any class except factory stock. If the same driver drives in more than one class that driver must pay an entry fee or fees for the other car or cars, that driver will be driving, if a driver is caught driving more than one class the same night without paying entry fee or fees all cars driven that night will be disqualified for entire night. 18. Driver is given (2) laps to get into correct spot after being shown what that spot is. After (2) laps, that car will be black flagged and sent off the track. 19. DRIVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREW MEMBERS AND FAMILY!! (THIS INCLUDES EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS!). Any unauthorized person (this includes pit crews, wives/girlfriends, kids, parents, sponsors, etc..............) entering the press box or flag stand, will get their driver disqualified for the night and at least a 2 week suspension. Any person involved in any unsportsmanlike conduct, including stopping on the track to ARGUE, will be suspended for at least 2 weeks. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Excessive speeding or other inappropriate displays in the pit area will cause that driver to be penalized. THIS INCLUDES RACE CARS AND 4-WHEELERS! Habitual rough driving during a race will not be tolerated and hitting a car under yellow or after the race is considered stupid and will not be tolerated. 20. NO PIT CREW MEMBERS ON TRACK DURING YELLOW OR RED. DRIVER MUST STAY IN CAR UNLESS TOLD OTHERWISE. 21. BLACK FLAG APPLIES TO ALL CLASSES. Not seeing the flag is no excuse. The black flag will be given to any car spinning out twice, not able to run safely, (i.e. dragging loose parts, leaking fluid, flats on right side, etc............), any car not at racing speed, excessive smoking, rough driving or racing on a flat that is tearing up the track. 22. During protest only the driver from the protesting car will be allowed in the tech area. During a protest, track officials may confiscate any part in question, so that they may get a technical question answered by a professional before rendering a decision. Any driver wishing to protest must have raced at least (2) weeks prior to the protest in that particular class. (The track reserves the right to inspect any car at any time.) Protests for Mini Stock, Hobby Stock, and Street Stock $150.00 -- Pistons, cam, lifters, valves, drive train, and chassis. pistons cam, lifters, valve , drive train , chassis $200.00 -- All of the above plus transmission and/or clutch. Any driver changes that occur after the qualifying heats must start on the rear of the feature. Any driver qualified for the feature may change cars (but must the other car #) if necessary but loses points and money for races already ran. Anytime there is a driver change, the pit board must be notified and fees paid before you can race legally. If you fail to notify the pit board, you will forfeit money and points for the night. NO driver changes after the green has been given in a race. 30. ALL PERSONS WHO ENTER THE PIT AREA ARE TO SIGN THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT.
