2007 Mini Stock/Pro-4 Building Rules

1. Any American made passenger car or truck, manufactured from 1955 to present, are permitted for the class. Trucks or truck/type cars are also permitted if they are stock oem wheelbase, with no more than 4 cylinders except front wheel drive they may have more Minimum weight is 2100# if they have stock frame from front axle to rear spring buckets and or leaf rear spring hangers if leaf sprung.
-- A. Any front wheel drive car is permitted with no minimum weight.
-- B. Any stub car or modified, leaf sprung only, no bird cages no sliders or like must add 100# in front of motor plate, with a minimum weight of 2300#.
-- C. If any car is stroked or destroked add 300# above minimum weight requirement for that chassis type.
-- D. Any car using an aftermarket head must add 150# in front of motor plate above minimum weight requirement for that chassis type.
-- E. Any porting or polishing anywhere requires adding 100# above total minimum weight requirement for that chassis type.
-- F. Aluminum FORD heads must add 50# in front of the motor plate.
-- H. Double overhead cam must add 150# above total minimum weight requirement for that chassis type.

Example:

A leaf sprung modified chassis with a destroked motor, OEM Ford, Ported, Aluminum head must weigh:
2300# chassis
50# Aluminum OEM Ford Head
300# Destroked
100# Porting/Polishing
--------
2750# total with 150# in front of motor plate

2. May use aftermarket parts, aluminum, and fiberglass in construction of body. 8" spoiler with no more than three forward braces measuring 18" in length.

3. Full front and rear firewalls and/or drivers box mandatory.

4. Any 500 cfm 2-barrel only. Bottom throttle plate hole 1 11/16 inch. Top 1 3/8 inch. Gas only.

5. No turbos, rotary or mid-engine cars. Fuel injection okay on front wheel drives only.

6. Poly locks are OK.

7. Open cam type

8. Screw in studs ok. Any type rockers ok.

9. Any intake. Adapter ok .

10. Headers are okay.

11. All front wheel drives must remain factory stock from front to rear with no alterations, with the exception of safety changes v-6 but must be stock.

12. Any tire that fits in the hoop (the hoop being 1/4 inch wider than a American Racer G-60 tire mounted on a 8 inch wheel). No recaps permitted. RR bead lock ok

13. Weight jacks ok. No other weight transfer devices, and no coil over or coil over eliminators.

14. Maximum 8" wheels only! 1" lug nuts MANDATORY!

15. Quick release steering wheel is optional. Quick steer boxes OK.

16. Stock OEM rear ends only. Grand National ok, Mix and match OK. Any clutch, no couplers and no direct drives.

17. Tubular top A frames are ok.

18. Coil springs must mount in stock location.

19. Only one shock/strut per wheel.

20. Electric cooling fans and pumps are ok.

21. Any type distributor or ignition system. Mag and MSD systems are permitted.

22. Stock OEM UNALTERED rack and pinion permitted.

23. Must have 3 or 4 wheel brakes. NO brake adjuster allowed inside driver's area within reach of driver. Shut off valves are ok, if outside drivers compartment. No gold tracks or traction control devices of any kind.
